Assessment requirements
Two distinct streams
VETASSESS runs two distinct streams. The professional and general stream is a documentary assessment of qualifications and employment, while the trade stream is staged and hands-on.
Professional stream evidence and options
The professional and general stream reviews academic qualifications and employment evidence such as references and payslips. Optional Points Test Advice and priority processing are available for an additional fee.
Trade stream stages
The trade stream begins with a documentary stage, then proceeds to either a technical interview or a technical assessment plus a practical assessment. The trade stream is therefore not documentary-only.
Validity and renewal
