Assessment requirements
A documentary assessment
IML conducts a documentary assessment of a higher-education degree and up to ten years of employment history. The application is lodged online.
A separate subclass 485 assessment
A separate Temporary Graduate subclass 485 qualification assessment exists. It is not the migration skills assessment and serves a different purpose.
Fees are non-refundable
Fees for the assessment are non-refundable. An express add-on is available to shorten the processing time.
Validity
A positive IML migration skills assessment outcome is valid for three years from the date of issue.
