Occupations assessed by ANZSNM

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ANZSCO 251213), an alternative assessing authority alongside ASMIRT.

Key Occupations

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Always verify the designated assessing authority for your specific ANZSCO occupation code on the Department of Home Affairs skilled occupation list before applying.

Assessment requirements

Registration-gated assessment model

ANZSNM conducts a registration-gated assessment rather than a documentary-only review. The applicant must provide evidence of registration and may need to meet additional Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia requirements for full registration. The assessment is therefore tied to professional registration status.

Evidence of qualifications and experience

ANZSNM assesses clinical experience together with tertiary qualifications in nuclear medicine. Applicants submit qualification records and evidence of relevant clinical practice. The body weighs both academic study and practical experience in reaching its decision.

Suitable or not-suitable outcome

The assessment returns a suitable or not-suitable outcome against the nominated occupation. A suitable outcome confirms the applicant's qualifications and experience meet the standard. Applicants residing in Australia pay an additional 10 percent GST on the fee.

Outcome validity

ANZSNM does not state a validity period for its outcome. The general Department of Home Affairs rule applies, under which a skills assessment is ordinarily usable for three years from the date of issue. Confirm currency before lodging a visa application.

Why Visa Plan for your skill assessment with ANZSNM?

Occupation confirmation

We confirm the correct CSOL occupation title and the designated assessing authority for your specific role before you apply, avoiding the cost of an incorrect application.

Application preparation

A complete, well-prepared application reduces the risk of delay or adverse outcome. We advise on documentation requirements, employment reference content, and how to present your qualifications and experience.

Migration strategy

A positive skills assessment is a prerequisite, not a migration plan. We build your complete migration strategy from the assessment through to visa grant or permanent residence.
