WA State Nominated Migration Program is Open Now!

The highly anticipated 2023-24 Western Australian State Nominated Migration Program is now open! It is now possible to pursue Western Australian nomination under Subclasses 190 and 189.

 

Highlights of the 2023–24 Program include:

  • No fee is required when applying for Western Australian nomination.
  • Both Interstate and Overseas candidates are given the same invitation ranking.
  • Priority invitations for candidates with occupations in WA industry sectors facing significant demand for skilled workers.
  • Reduced employment requirements for candidates receiving invitations through occupations in the WA building and construction industry sector.

 

Eligibility Requirements for 2023-24 WA Nomination

To be considered for Western Australian state nomination, your occupation must fall under one of the following streams:

  1. General Stream — Eligible occupations are outlined in Schedule 1 or 2 of the WA Skilled Migration Occupation List (WASMOL).
  2. Graduate Stream — Eligible occupations are outlined in the Graduate Occupation List (GOL).

​Nominated occupation is available on the relevant list√ 
Meet minimum English requirements√ 
At least one year Australian or one year of overseas work experience in nominated (or closely related) occupation
​Full time employment contract in WA for a minimum of six months in the nominated (or closely related) occupation* 
Have obtained a Certificate III level or above qualification from an accredited WA educational institution
Meet the two years WA study requirement
