VETASSESS has announced an update, that is the temporary suspension of new applications for assessment in relation to seven (7) trade occupations, as listed below:
- Chef 351311
- Cook 351411
- Motor Mechanic (General) 321211
- Diesel Motor Mechanic 321212
- Fitter (General) 323211
- Electrician (General) 341111
- Metal Machinist (First Class) 323214
This suspension will be effective starting 25 September 2023. It has been implemented to streamline the processing of a substantial volume of the existing applications in hand. It is however limited to Pathway 1 and Pathway 2 applications under the OSAP and TSS programs, meaning that the Job Ready Program remains available.
If you have already submitted an application for assessment, your pending application will continue to be processed without any further action by you.
