TSS Visa (482 Visa) for Doctors

The 8607 visa condition that imposes the work restrictions work quite differently for medical doctors. If you are a doctor and your specialisation is one of the areas stated below, you are not restricted to working for the nominating employer. In other words, on the 482 TSS visa you may work as a doctor for different service providers. However, you are required to work exclusively in your nominated occupation.

We stress that the aforementioned exemption exclusively relates to medical doctors on 482 TSS visas. You would still have to continue fulfilling other visa conditions, including maintaining professional regulatory compliance and not ceasing work for more than 6 consecutive months.
