James BAE

James attended and graduated from the University of Sydney with the combined degrees in Commerce and Laws in 2013. He was admitted as a lawyer in 2014 in Queensland where he started practising migration law.

James subsequently moved and worked as a Legal Adviser at Comcare (an arm of the Australian Federal Government) where he represented various arms of the Australian Government at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. In this role, he had attained insights on government operations, deliberations, procedures and policies, which transformed into the key advantages and strengths of Visa Plan Lawyers.

James founded Visa Plan Lawyers in 2019.

Andrew Topalovic

Andrew graduated from Deakin University with the Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 2018. He completed the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in the same year. Since being admitted before the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2019, he has spent the entirety of his professional career within the migration space, with a particular focus on family and employer sponsored migration.

Andrew is proud to be a lawyer, and strongly believes that lawyers possess a far more comprehensive understanding of the legal regime than migration agents who had only studied a six (6) months course to be registered prior to 2020.

Andrew is a founding member of Visa Plan Lawyers.

Ivan Litvinov

Ivan has graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) and LLB (Hons). Ivan holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law (Victoria) and is admitted to the legal profession in the Supreme Court of Queensland.

For over a decade Ivan has excelled in a wide variety of roles in the energy sector before returning to the legal profession in 2021, focusing on migration and global mobility.
